How to turn off student cursors and nameplates
Lessonspace whiteboards feature a dotted line (called a viewport) that indicates all participants' views, along with their cursor and nameplates. This helps the tutor to keep track of the part of the whiteboard that the students are looking at.
In some cases, to reduce visual clutter or avoid students being distracted by the moving cursors or nameplates, Leaders in the Space can toggle these options off.
To turn these off, click the settings menu in the whiteboard toolbar and toggle off any options:
Hide Viewports will hide the dotted line that indicates the students' views.
Hide Cursors will hide the moving cursors and names of all participants from the whiteboard.
Hide Cursor Nameplates will hide the names but not the cursors from the whiteboard.
