Full-Screen PowerPoint presentation issues

When using PowerPoint in full-screen mode during a Lessonspace session, some users may encounter issues where slides after the first one are not visible to other participants. This often occurs because the screen-sharing permissions do not update automatically when slides change. Here’s how to address this problem and ensure a smooth presentation experience.

For the best experience, follow these steps:

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Start the presentation in full-screen mode.
  3. Switch to your Lessonspace session using ALT+TAB or Windows Key + TAB .
  4. Press the screen share button.
  5. Select "Window" to share from.
  6. Select the PowerPoint window that has the presentation started.
  7. Begin your presentation.

Using a Secondary Screen: To avoid these issues entirely, consider using a secondary screen. This way, you can keep your PowerPoint presentation on one screen and your Lessonspace session on the other, ensuring that the presentation runs smoothly and all participants can see the slides.

Use Pop-Out Videos: Teachers can use the pop-out video feature in Lessonspace to keep student video feeds visible while presenting.
