Lessonspace is a video conferencing tool for online education. It's designed to enhance a student's online learning experience with a collaborative whiteboard that makes it easy to teach things like STEM (with a big focus on Math) and language.
Creating the Space
Teachers:
You need to send your Space link, which looks something like this:
https://www.thelessonspace.com/space/....
to your student. At the time of your lesson, you simply both follow that link to join the same Space.
Students:
Your tutor will send you a link to their room, which looks something like this:
https://www.thelessonspace.com/space/....
At the time of your lesson, you simply follow that link to join the same Space.
Technical setup
Get your microphone and camera working:
When joining a Space, you'll first arrive in the Lobby to test and adjust your microphone and camera settings.
If you're having problems with your microphone or camera then follow the steps outlined in our troubleshooting guide.
When you're ready, click Join. You'll arrive in the Space and see the other participants.
Prepare a lesson
As a teacher, you can join a Space before your lesson to upload and prepare all the teaching material you wish to use.
We've worked hard to try and make the Spaces and features as simple and easy to use as possible, so don’t be scared to just try them and see what works for you. Learn more about the Space Features here.
